This afternoon, I went to the mall alone to ward of the heat and do some window shopping. It had been some time when I spent a quiet stroll alone but honestly, the solitude unnerved me. Compared to how things were more than two years ago, solitude felt desolate, lonely and sad. :(

This could be a bad sign of paranoia as things weren’t going well this week. I had been busy but even that was unable to ward of my heart-ache.

What is it with this present generation, wherein there are so many things to, so many things to see, yet they are never enough to ward of the feeling of loneliness, of feeling comfort, or feeling the sense of belongingness.

Or the feeling of Home.

Home.

It’s a word which defies whatever meaning can be found in any dictionary. How does it feel to be at Home? How can one find the sense of Home? How do you find it? Or does it find you?

Where is YOUR Home?

Home personally is a place to feel safe, to feel relaxed, to feel accomplished, to be with your loved ones at the end of the day. More importantly, it is a place of comfort and harmony with everything that has happened in your life. To how we arrive there is the challenge of a lifetime. Many find their place, others don’t. To achieve Home is the ultimate goal for everyone.

It’s not the money, fame or success.

It’s the sense of accomplishment and belongingness… that is Home.

Are you in your Home?

Are you in your weekly home to help relax your weekly emotions?

I’m still trying to find mine amidst my current heart-ache.

I wish you all the luck. Please do so for me too.

I lift my glass to everyone to finding your Home.

That was so sad Jas, I feel that I’m in the same situation as you are. But I believe home is a place where your needs and dreams were satisfied.

In three simple words, You are content.

Your sense of accomplishment and belonging may depend on how contented are you with your current situation. Finding contentment is like a treasure hunt with all these maps laid out to you with different paths and “X” marks. You just have to find the one that you believe will suit you well.

Being alone is good, but never make it a habit, I know it’s my bad habit, and it’s been bitter, freaking loath it. I’m here if you ever need me :D
