First it was Haiti, now it’s Chile.
Both occurrences brought many sufferings and lost lives. Much as I don’t want to think about it but is this the beginning of ‘The End’.
Moving on, the idea is too sad to think about.

According to a news from CNN, the earthquake in chile brought a micro-second change to Earth’s days.
If we are to place it into a layman’s explanation, we could visualize a figure skater. When a figure skater pulls his arms in, it changes the distribution of the skater’s mass and changes the speed of his rotation. The earthquake in chile brought a change in earth’s mass distribution and tilted the earth’s axis a bit, thus it brought the time change.
You may think it’s nothing but think about it. For every less micro-second change in Earth’s time is another added equivalent for change in the future. Remember, once upon a time, Earth consisted of water and ONE large chunk of land. There weren’t any continents before. Because of mass changes (earthquakes and such), every possible millimeter multiplied by the age of the Earth brought about separation of land to many pieces. Thus, the Earth we have now.
It is a very intriguing thought. For every earth’s axis change that may happen in the near future, what other earth changes could happen? *wonders and is a bit afraid*
