From the time the PC game SIMS arrived on my desktop PC many years ago, I fell extremely in love with it. The fact I’m no gamer tells a lot and thus started my inclination to simulation games. One reason I grew to love it is the player’s capability to play God planning out the Sim’s dream home, looks, career, etc. with easy click. It can be considered a sanctuary from reality, to have a couple of hours fulfilling dreams currently not in reality.
So the SIMS evolved to SIMS2, wherein characters, houses and neighborhoods became bigger and better. Now, we have SIMS 3 with multi-player capabilities making the SIMS world wider than ever.
It made me miss the simplicity of the first SIMS though. Thinking back, I did wish for the first SIMS version be integrated in Facebook and have my Facebook friends as neighbors.
Wow! It’s finally here! I didn’t expect it to happen but here we are! :D
I’ve started playing Sims Social this week and despite the many server ‘glitches’ I had at the start of the week, I held on not willing to give up on a game I loved so much. It currently loads fine everytime I access it.
Similar to what its original game, the goals are:
- Give your Sim the best life it could have.
- Design and decorate your own home.
- Interact with your neighbors (friends). This is VERY IMPORTANT for the survival of your Sim.
- Make money (of course or else, how will you make your home.)
- Get into a relationship (optional, but really how will your Sim progress if you don’t)
- Have fun!
If you haven’t started playing the Sim Social, check out the trailer video below to see some of its awesome features:

Of course, as any other games, I do wish I could find a Sim Social cheat somewhere to help build up some cash and get on with my Sim house haha! We will have to see if anyone can come up with one soon *wink*
I swear, this game could be another alternative to actually ‘hang out’. LOL.
So what are you waiting for? Join in the Sim Social fun!
