I have nothing against tatoos. Actually, I appreciate its artistic merit. I am actually quite amazed with tattoo ideas that seem to have sprung from different sources. It is an art. I also conceive it as painful art. But art, as I see it, is a genre in society wherein pain is an essence to have an essential and moving piece. But it is art.
Though honestly, sometimes I am scared. I think it’s society’s norm that those who cover their whole body tattos are actually convicts, gangsters, murderers etc. They portray the ‘bad’ side as they say. I find the concept unfair but I can’t seem to pull away from the idea too.
I have friends who have tattos but they only have it on a minimum scale. Just some words, a symbol, a logo, etc. When I find someone with tattos as the one you see on the image, I will be amazed but I can’t easily remove the concept of pain underwent for that art or the possibility there must be something wrong with the person.
I really have to get this concept off me. It’s just totally unfair for those who conceive tattoo as art.
