What do you dislike about obsessive drinkers?

1. They smell like poop or urine.

2. They make the whole house smell (like poop or urine or worse, both).

3. They say the same thing over and over again.

4. They ask the same question over and over again.

5. They complain their health is degrading when it’s obvious the reason why.

6. They say drinking helps them to sleep from insomia / over-anxiousness / forget their problems temporarily. That’s just it. It’s TEMPORARY. So the problem is still there. Still they complain and continue to drink to forget about it. What a reason. Why don’t they just drink once then move their butts the next day and actually SOLVE the problem. That would probably accomplish something.

7. They make a mess of the place.

8. They won’t clean the mess they made.

9. They order people around them as if everyone is a personal maid.

10. Alcohol will their wife and child. The actual people will be the one to either buy or clean the empty bottles away.

11. They complain nobody of their family or loved ones goes near them to talk too. Really, will you stand to be in the presence of a stinking drunkard for more than an hour?

12. They forget a lot of things and they blame someone else for it.
13. They reminisce the past even the BAD ones. Thus, they can say pretty much nasty stuff without meaning it. But it would still hurt.

14. They get nasty with a hangover.

15. They can throw things when they feel up to it.
Afterwards, it could be two things: (1) they will forget all the hurtful things they said in their drunken state and forget about it (meaning no “sorry” or anything) (2) they will go back to their lives as if nothing happened.

16. They complain about a lot of things (e.g. Bills, lower ages, higher prices, etc.) But they won’t complain when it comes to how much alcohol they purchase.

17. At times for men, they loose their respect on women.

18. They don’t hear what other people say about them.

19. If there are guns around, that would be their best friend.

20. They make themselves look so pitiful, it is often pathetic.

NOTE: Everything stated above is based on my own opinion and anecdotes from friends, relatives and acquaintances. If you feel affected by these, I’m sorry, but these are true to life facts. This is not to demean anyone except to state what is seen in reality.
