My BDJ Planner actually works for me!

I never considered myself as an organized person. Yes, I can remember dates and meetings here and there but when it comes to extra-curricular items that gets pushed off the list of priorities because of work and family, I literally FORGET.

Meaning, things that actually personally mean a lot to me gets off my list.

I am not saying work and home are not important but everything needs balance and the few simple things that mean to me most gets misplaced when ‘life’ becomes too busy.

So what are these things that are often get pushed far off lisf?

Blogging, watching DVDs, walking along green areas (parks and the like), reading a good book and playing with my pet. Blogging I miss the most. Even when I have the time to post after work, I am so tired from the day’s work my brain hardly registers to think of anything but sleep.

My other dilemma is I get too many ideas on my head at times. So when an idea gets into my head it stays there. But… if another idea or a priority gets in, it gets pushed way down the list until it gets forgotten, again.

I believe I had made a good investment with my Belle De Jour Planner 2010 planner power. With it, I am able to list down, ideas, thoughts, activities, to-do lists all in one place. Sure, you can say I could just put these things in notes and leave it somewhere easily seen. I sometimes insert notes on books, in bags, in notebooks etc. My problem is, I jot down things on any piece of paper and THEN I FORGET where I place it. Now you see my problem *giggles*

Now, even when I forget an idea or item, I take one look on my planner and I am reminded of what I need (or more importantly, want) to do. Even if the idea was from one-month before, I will not forget it. An idea is not left behind and with proper organization, I am satisfied knowing I am able to fulfill most of my plans. :)

For my January 2010, I believe I was able to fulfill a few things that had been on my list since LAST YEAR.

* Accomplished integrating and fixing modules for Winglica Forum. All thanks to Lacaille for all the help!

* Launched a new website under the Winglica – Aerandria Network called WingedFanfics. It is an anime and manga fanfiction site.

* Redesigned Chibilicious (this blog). I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time.

It’s now the Love Month and I have new plans to work on. I wish my February will be as successful as January. :D
