I’m pissed. I skipped my lunch so I could go early to Mobile1, the store where I bough my Palm last week. Somehow, I just cannot install programs and .pdb ebooks in my internal drive by Hotsync. The attendance taught me an alternative, using the Palm as a Diskdrive device to transfer the files and even installed a few games and some ebooks as freebies.
After a while though, he said he detected a software defect of one he installed last time. So he backed up all my files, deleted the defect, restarted the Palm and then…. nothing happened. The Palm would not enter its ‘desktop’ and thus a MAJOR defect took place. @_@
I felt my facial features changing, preparing for the moment to scowl, but I was able to maintain my cool, smiling facade, inquiring if it could be fixed. He made me wait for a while but their technician wasn’t able to solve the problem.
So he said they would change the unit but I have to bring the box along because it has a serial number stuck on it. @_@ My palm and its accessories I placed in this small bag…. meaning I have to go back again tomorrow. What a hassle! And I skipped my lunch because of that! *moan*
Oh well, I should have seen this coming. Besides, I’m one of those people who thinks there is really no perfect technology. I remembered when I changed our CPU at home last year, my technicial went back and forth to me and the store because of a lot of defects. @_@ Well, at least its working well right now but not after a lot of hassles and pressure.
Tomorrow, tomorrow…. I must have a good and working, defect-free Palm… or else…. another episode of bloody murder might happen again.
