When people ask me why, despite my age, I still watch anime or read manga (some think these things are for kids, sheeesh!), I tell them there are just too many things you could learn or get from those genres. Lessons, thoughs, ideas, moralities, jokes, etc. They don’t know it but there are just too many things to learn.
Below I have listed some of the things I remember from the series and mangas I’ve seen. I also asked some friends for their own fave lines. I hope you get to enjoy them. ^^
From Anime

- Yuzuriha (while crying): When she asked me why humans shouldn’t be destroyed for their greed, hate, immoralities, I wasn’t able to answer. Why? Why didn’t I answer? Why is it humans must not be destroyed?
Shiyuu (wipes a tear from her face): It’s because someone will cry. (X 1999) - It would appear she viewed guys on the same level as potatoes. (Haruhi Suzumiya)
- The hell was that dream? Freud would have a field day with this! (Kyon, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya VII)
- What kind of idiot knocks on a sliding door?? (Motoko’s mother, Fruits Basket)
- Haruhi: Senpai, you’re making a mess.

From Manga
