I surfed around the net and came upon the hair transplant phila. Seeing the balding head image reminded me a lot of my grandparents. I remember as a kid when they would ask me to pull out white hairs. They said it was itchy and they wanted it off.
Truth be told, I don’t want to have my hair drop out *worried smilie*. I currently have long, straight hair. It takes a lot of work to maintain but I still love it. I would definitely have it cut soon but it wouldn’t be a major makeover. (And I don’t want it short!) I am not one of those girls who takes new look to a whole serious level of hair treatments my wallet would not be able to take. XD
As I have heard from my mother and a lot of people, lots of hair treatments can damage hair. So I make sure I have stocks of conditioners in the closet. It’s my main hair maintenance. Leave on moisturizers are secondary to my hair tools list. ^^
My sister gave some of her ‘Beauty in a Box’ tips. They are cheap remedies on how to take care of your hair.
Hair Fix
Keep hair shiny and healthy and with this treatment.
You need: some almond oil & coconut oil (just enough to massage your hair)
- Add almond oil with coconut oil.
- Apply it 20 mins. before you wash your hair.
For Shiny Hair
This mix can complement your shampooing and conditioning! Add 1/4 cup vinegar to 6 cuups cool to cold water (for long hair). Use this as your final shampoo rinse. Condition as usual.
Hair Rinse
Gets rid of shampoo residue build-up, leaving your hair soft and shiny. Mix 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar with 1 quart water and use as a final rinse after shampooing.
Hair Conditioner
You need: plain yoghurt (about half a container)
- Shampoo your hair then massage in the yoghurt.
- Leave it in while you shower then rinse with warm water and you have just conditioned your hair.
