Google+ has garnered a large user-base from their beta phase and now are taking advantage of features inherently not in Facebook. Yet, we must take into consideration Facebook’s part of users everyday lives. It has become a chronological bio-data of status updates, photos, information, etc. of the user.
Even if let’s say, many professionals and businesses understand the need to use other social networks to reach their market, the mere concept of communication on a personal level with friends will remain. For those using Facebook for years, it will be hard for them to leave a historical evidence of their lives. Personally, that is my claim. I have registered Google+ but I rarely go into it. Why? A lot of my friends and colleagues don’t use it as much. I don’t see the sense of transferring if I don’t have anyone communicating with it. It is not that Google+ wasn’t given a chance. It’s a mere case of what we are used to.
