People who love fur… STOP BUYING!

I have nothing against fashionistas or fashion experts and their love for anything “fur-ry”.

I am not a member of PETA but I am aware of animal numbers decreasing through the years.

One of the reasons for the decrease of animal population is for the production of FUR.

A flair for vanity is equals the lives of many creatures.

Really, what does those furs give you anyway? Warmth, comfort, status? BULLSHIT to those, you could have all of those with other means. I am not saying its the fashion fans’ fault for this predicament. I am calling for everyone to reflect if fur is actually a necessity and a fad to adore.

I personally do that believe the adoration given to this product justifies the loss and discomfort of so many animals.

In a dash

Do you have those moments when you want to finish something at that very moment, wherein you want the world to stop spinning, for time to stop ticking and for your body to not tire out so you could accomplish what you want right here and now? I’m having that moment and it’s driving me crazy because there are too many things happening all at the same time and I’m at loss to which to prioritize. Sometimes, being one can suck.

Creepy Story

Goodbye godmother

Earlier today, my dad told me this story about my godmother who died a few months ago.

My godmother was our family doctor and my father’s cousin. She was my doctor when I entered this world. As long as I can remember, she goes in and out of our house whenever someone in the family is sick. She is a welcomed family member and I remember her as a small talkative person with a lot of energy. Even when she retired, my father would go to her for consultations and check-ups especially with regards to his diabetes.

She was strong and healthy even at a old age. She was a member of a church group and very active in it and regularly participates in its discussion.

Her son, a 3rd degree cousin of mine (I think, if my understanding of family hierarchy is right), relayed a story that brought the hair on my arms rise up. The story was told to him by my godmother’s fellow church members .

My godmother went to her church group on time, sat with the members of her church group and, for some reason was very quiet. They found the situation different but didn’t think much of it. In the midst of their discussion, my godmother stood up and left without a word.

When my cousin asked what time my godmother came, they said it was around 5PM. Then he said, “That is impossible! My mother died at 4PM!”

I think my godmother felt a strong affinity with her friends from the church and thus went to visit for a final time before she entirely left this world. To my godmother, I hope you now rest in peace. I thank you for being the one assisting my mother in bringing me into this world. Thank you for your care everytime I or another family member was ill. I hope you will still continue to care from us from above and share your healing abilities to our other family members.
