Screw closed minded people… this is NOT degrading! Pretty Boys Rule!

NOTE: The following videos were not meant to degrade any group of people or to demean any sexuality and gender-related issues.

As long as I can remember, I had been an anime fanatic. Starting young, I had been engrossed myself in subconsciously learning the japanese culture. I have learned a few words, knew a bit of the history, studied the culture and learned to love the people with all their quirks and amazing lifestyle.

In Japan, finding “beautiful” young boys is a common thing to see. We are not talking about just “androgynous” looking boys. They actually dress and look like one. And who knows what other things they are made to do (and no sleazy ideas please).

I have this habit of searching Youtube for something to cheer or wake me up on a boring day. Yes, even at work sometimes.

*heads bow in shame*

Anyways, earlier today I stumbled upon videos related to what I’m talking about earlier. And wow, I’m pretty amazed by what I found!

Crossdress Paradise is a show with the theme of making “boys” look like girls with the right clothes and make-up. Whew! Thank goodness! I don’t think I could handle viewing surgeries. I’ve seen one during a Tyra Banks show and though I find it very brave of men undergoing the surgery, I’m quite weak seeing body parts being cut open :|

It’s definitely amazing how absolutely “beautiful” some of these boys are. They could fool anyone! There is quite a number found in Youtube. Unfortunately, not all are subtitled but it’s not necessary but they’re not even necessary. Just seeing the hosts, guests and audiences’ faces are enough to see the level of their “kawaii” reactions. :D

As what post title insinuate, these videos are not for the close minded or those who have anything against the third sex. I don’t think these boys are demeaned in any way. They are respected and even if some seemed to be made fun off, I believe the “beautiful” boys are aware of what they got into and the program management would not allow anyone to treat them badly in any way.

So with no further ado, here are some of my fave episodes :D

PIXAR Parody

Remember that lamplight which always takes the place of the “I” in the every PIXAR advertorial that comes out every time you watch that movie? Well that lamplight is taking a huge punishment for doing what it does best… stomping on “I”.

I don’t think the lamplight means anything bad about it. He was directed to do as such. XD

I feel sorry for the lamplight…but justice must be served at some point!

NOTE: Please remember this is a parody done by a group.

I see better

I’ve started noticing my vision going blurred during my sixth year in elementary. When copying something on the blackboard, English became Russian and I had to go near to clearly decipher the actual content. It was hard sometimes I had to squint so hard it hurt. Worse was when watching TV, I would unconsciously go near to see details only to turn my eyes away from intense radiation. I then realized how hard it was for my father to rely on his glasses and I dreaded the moment of getting one.

Many years passed and bit by bit my nearsightedness grew worse. Fortunately, it was a very gradual transition that I wouldn’t change glasses for 3 years or so. Recently though, I believe I have reached the point in time to replace my glasses again. My current glasses are actually fine but I’ve been getting a lot of headaches (especially near eyes area) for these past few weeks and my vision has increasingly become blurred to the extent I can’t read a book for a long time without my glasses. Reading books without glasses were not a problem before. Honestly, I am worried.

I don’t even remember how it felt like to have clear eyes “without” glasses. All I remember was how much I love to read back then. I will read even in dim light, I will read in a moving transportation, I will read in bed, I will read even if I was very sleepy. I will strain my eyes just to finish a story. I now suffer the consequences.

But…

I do remember the countless stories I read and re-read in the evening. I remember daydreams I conjured in daytime from all the stories I read. I remember all knowledge I have retained from the books I proclaimed as best friends. I have remembered fascinating discussions on literature. I remember learning various cultures from a country’s myths and legends.

I remember believing in fairy tales, in believing happy endings, in learning morals, in accepting differences, in respecting diverse religion, in providing advice, in sharing education, in partaking wisdom, in being active in the society and more… all of this started from a book.

I am thankful science has provided means for nearsighted people like me to see clearly. Eyeglasses, contact lenses or laser surgery… various options for the likes of me. I am fortunate I have these.

I learned the hard way on how to take care of our eyes. Yet, I learned and now know what advice to give to others. For all the knowledge I learned, I am grateful for “clearer” eyes that have been given my records of history.

A New Blog Look for the New Year!

At long last! I’ve been dying to get this blog have a makeover! With the way my weeks have been going since the start of the new year, it’s a great miracle and accomplishment I finally got this done! I’ve been stressed, sick, had multiple personality disorder (hey, I always had that, joke! LOL), been frustrated, bogged down by chores, etc. I’m just so thankful I got it done and over with! Whew!

Yet there may be quite some quirks here and there but I’m happy to get the new look to motivate myself to post more. Blogging had been a good output for me and well, I get to learn more on customizing WordPress themes on it.^^

I’m just so happy I’m munching on some sweet bread when my doctor specifically told me to lessen my sweet intake because of the skin issue I’ve been having from the cold season. Oh well, me and my sinful undertaking. XD

To start off my first post on my newly designed blog, I want to share this amazing video about animals made to cross a platform with standing dominoes to see who could get to the finish line without knocking a domino off. Would it be the giant turtle, the turkey, the pig? The answer is quite amazing. :D
