Marketing materials online

I had been in the advertising industry and I knew how it feels to run from one supplier to another to compare quotes, materials, timetables, requirements, etc. to satsify the requirements of Clients. More so if you don’t have a designer yet for a material and you need to look for a quality freelancer to do the work.

Yes, I can imagine again the fieldwork, papers, phone calls etc. just to get a marketing material proceed.

It is to my utter delight that there are easier ways to get marketing materials such as Signs, Vinyl lettering, Banners, Flags, Magnetic Signs, Bumper stickers, etc. with just a few clicks of the button. It is even better that though you are not a designer, quality templates are available for you to easily customize for your needs.

The potential of this kind of service is easier access, less fieldwork, less collaborations and less costs. Some business similar to this also provides services for rental displays, liscense plates, street signs, accessories, etc.

With just a few clicks of the button, your work is done. Now that is the power of an online business. :)

A calling souvenir

It’s a long time ago I noticed something valuable to me. Have you ever had that moment you know you kept something really precious, only to have forgotten about it as time passed, then suddenly having it appear in your life again?

When you look into my wallet, the first you will notice is the usual place to insert photos in. Only, it isn’t a photo of me or someone close to me you will find but of a lonesome looking kitten leaning on a tree trunk with beautiful autumn leaves picturesque in the background. Yes, when you see it, you will go “ooh” and “aah” over the photographic beauty and the next thing is the usual question I get which is, “Where did you get this picture?”

Only it isn’t a picture. It’s a calling card. It’s actually one of those Japan calling cards the Japanese use for street phones. In tune with the unique culture of Japan to be artistic in anything that is cute be embedded in their merchandise, my college best friend was able to avail of this from somewhere (she told where she got it but I forgot) and gave it to me as a remembrance since she adores cats. My college best friend can actually look like a cat when she wants to. Tt’s actually very funny whenever I see it and reminisce about the times we had back in college.

Who would have thought that calling cards can serve as souvenir or memento as such. I had that card for a long time but it isn’t always I get to reminisce back whenever I see it. The moment just comes when flashes of the past disturbs my current activities and I long for the past.

Me and my best friend haven’t seen each other for a long time. More than a year actually. We don’t even get to talk anymore. We rarely chat. But I know where she is. Now, I’m feeling a bit guilty for not organizing the group reunion she once harped on me a long time back. I want to see the girls again. That calling card reminded me back to the times of our youth.

Now, my high school best friend will fly over an airport to Japan to switch trains to get home tomorrow from her seminar in Hawaii. Maybe I could ask her to get me one of those calling cards. It would really be nice. ^^

The blood of my office life

I’m usually the first person to arrive at the office during weekdays and the first thing I do (besides opening the lights) is to turn on the water dispenser so I could have all the hot water after a few minutes for the mixing of the blood of my office life.

Coffee. My brain wouldn’t work properly without it. I crave its taste, its aroma, its stimulation to the senses. It wakes me up, set my blood on the roll to start the day right.

Yes, I love coffee but I can be very choosy with my tastes. I am not the type to go for black coffee. I want mine sweet, hot and if possible, with a hint of vanilla or choco fudge. When somebody gives me a whole jar of instant coffee, I immediately set to my first fix to have my system rolling on the pleasure of having free coffee.

More so, I drool over exquisite looking, finely packaged coffee gift baskets. I get this feeling of utter delight when I see beautifully packaged coffee together in one setting, with ribbons and bonus products in them such as cute, authentic mugs or even chocolates! The presentation makes my mouth water imagining the coffee powder dissolving steadily in hot water, with this aroma wafting through the air on a rainy day.

Ahhh yes, I’m craving again for the blood of my life.

It would really make my day if I receive coffee gift baskets as a present. I would love that person endlessly. LOL
