This is the most recent korean movie I saw and I”m really loving it!

A note of caution though, this is for mature audiece. trust mne on this.

As of a brief synopsis, here is information I found on the net.

The King and the Clown (・菩攪 ・ィ・・ Wang ui Namja) is a 2005 South Korean film, adapted from the 2000 Korean play titled “Yi”, (“You”) about Yeonsangun of Joseon, a Joseon dynasty king who falls in love with a court clown who mocks him. The movie is based on a small passage from the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty that briefly mentions the king’s favorite clown. It is the highest grossing (over $85,000,000 in domestic receipts) Korean film in history with 12.3 million viewers, surpassing total admissions of Silmido and Taegukgi. Production costs were relatively modest for a Korean film, approximately $4.5 million dollars.

There are alternative titles of this movie: The King’s Men or The King’s Man (the literal translation of the Korean title) and All the King’s Men (working title).

Thank you to Sir Boss Chief Stephen for sending me this. :D

1. Si Inay, tinuruan niya ako HOW TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE:

5th Philippine Toycon

I just got home from the 5th Philippines Toycon Convention. And I am so darn tired!

I spent the day with Chloebelle, Paul and Licorne. And as with any anime and game convention I’ve been in and heard from acquaintances, its quite a success with all evidence of countless merchandises, many cosplayers, wall-to-wall kiosks and bodies, and not to mention, the ventilation not giving enough coolness to the hall… since there were too many breathing people taking in the oxygen.

But NO! NO! NO! Don’t get the wrong impression. I liked the convention! Seeing all those toy collectibles, hobby materials and anime-related stuff stocked up all-together in one place… it is an idea of heaven. *twinkle twinkle eyes*

But of course, as my earlier description of the event, ot would make a limp vegetable out of you by the end of the day. And that was what exactly happened to me. I felt the bones on my feet giving in… as if the skeleton on my legs were starting to shatter bit by bit. For me, that was really weird since I can walk for a long time and still feel fine.

Maybe the atmosphere of the toycon just sucked all the energy out of me. The noise, the loud music, my eyes taking in all the merchandise, shouting at the top of your voice in order to be heard… yea, it was fun but tiring. LOL

But something really made me angry. Licorne and I were going home and I wanted to ride a taxi so I wouldn’t have to walk quite a distance. My feet ached that much. And the horror, no taxi wanted to give us the ride to my area. I felt my world turning black, my eyes already turning into slits from annoyance, and I guess Licorne sensed my anger… she didn’t give up until we got the taxi. Thanks so much Licorne! *muwah!*

For crying out loud, I had enough money to pay the cabin fare, some taxi drivers could be so annoying. -_-

Well, I sure would like to be in another convention again. But as of the moment, I don’t want to eat, don’t want to drink anything, don’t want to read, I just want to rest my feet and lie down on my bed, while watching TV.

Since I have to wake up early tomorrow morning for some chores, I want to rest early. Well, that’s all for now. Tootles!
